Barossa Valley wine country
An hour north of Adelaide, the Barossa has been making wine since the 1840s and is best known for old-vine shiraz and grenache. Many cellar doors along Seppeltsfield Road, Murray Street and the Barossa Valley Way open daily, while smaller makers pour by appointment - check before you go, and plan a driver.
